Welcome to the Jochelerhof in Strass im Zillertal, a picturesque farm that has been run by our family for generations and offers our guests relaxing family holidays in the midst of the Tyrolean Alps.

Our farm is characterised by its year-round animal husbandry. Here, guests can experience first-hand how sheep are milked, chickens roam freely and lambs curiously roam the property. This is a unique opportunity, especially for families with children, to get in touch with nature and learn about everyday farm life.

The central location of the Jochelerhof at the entrance to the Zillertal is ideal for excursions in the Zillertal, Achental and Inntal. Our holiday flat offers space for up to 7 people and is comfortably furnished and fully equipped with three bedrooms for 2 people each, living room with sofa bed for 1 person and TV, eat-in kitchen equipped with electric cooker, oven, extractor fan, fridge with freezer compartment, kettle, coffee machine, dishwasher, bar, kitchen and table linen, crockery and cutlery complete, TV, ...), balcony with seating furniture, bathroom with shower and WC. Cot and high chair are also available.

Here you immediately feel at home and can enjoy Tyrolean hospitality to the fullest. You don't have to go far for culinary delights, as our farm has its own farm shop with a wide selection of fresh produce. From fresh milk and yoghurt to homemade jam and fresh vegetables from the garden - here you can stock up on regional specialities. The location of our farm is also perfect for active holidaymakers. The train station is only a 5-minute walk away, which makes day trips to the surrounding towns and regions easy. In the immediate vicinity of the farm you will find a sports field and a children's playground.

The top skiing areas Hochfügen-Hochzillertal and Spieljoch or the golf course Zillertal Uderns can be reached in just a few minutes by car or with the ski bus or the trains of the Zillertalbahn. Hiking and cycling trails extend right outside the front door, and the breathtaking mountain landscape of the Zillertal offers countless opportunities for outdoor activities. An idyllic bathing lake can be reached in just 15 minutes on foot or by bike and offers refreshing cooling on warm summer days. The Jochelerhof is also a paradise for motorcyclists who want to explore the picturesque roads and passes in the Zillertal and the surrounding area.
