Our has a more than 500 year history as a farmhouse and is located at 850 m above sea level above lake Faakers See in the village of Altfinkenstein. The peaceful setting 3 ,m of Latschach and adjacent to the castle ruins of Altfinkenstein there are countless activities in the direct vicinity. In 2014 the house was completely modernized and reonovated. We now offer 3 appartments with 45, 55 and 140 square meters. In the mountain setting over the village you enjoy complete tranquility. Relax amidst fields. The private road on which you reach the property endes here so that the only other traffic will be from the adjacent farm. Only 10 minutes from Faaker See you can escape the bustle and enjoy a peaceful vacation.. The 3 appartments on the first and second floor of the property have fully equipped kitchend with fride/freezer combination, dishwasher, oven and ceramic stove. All appartments are equipped with Sattelite Flat TVs, have seperate bed and living rooms and modern bathrooms. Wireless is available in case you need to check your emails. All appt have laminate floors and individual styles from modern to country house. New furniture and full size beds as well as Sofa corners and Dining Room tables and chairs provide all necessary comfort. All appartments are equipped with completely new modern bathrooms with shower, and heated towel racks. There is a large lawn for common use in front of the house as well as a roofed area with benches and table in case you want to enjoy breakfast outside or have dinner during the sunset. There is a fire pit in case you want to light a fire in the evening or have a wood barbecue enjoying the breathtaking view of the mountain panorama. From the house you have an impressive view of the Dobratsch , the mountain world of the Dreilaendereck (three country corner) and the surrounding mountains like the Mittagskogel. To enjoy a unique view of the lake Faaker See there is a private footpath about 3 minutes from the house. Hiking paths into the surrounding mountains, the castle ruins or the rock climbing area (Kanzianiberg) start immediately from the house leaving you to explore the diversity of the Karawanken. Sight seeing trips like the Villacher Hochalpstr (a scenic mountain road) the Dreilaendereck, Lake Ossiach or Woerthersee, the Gerlitzen as well as fort Hochosterwitz and Landskron with their show of birds of prey are easily reached by car..
