The centre of the bustling village of Stumm in the Zillertal, with its restaurants, a supermarket and leisure facilities is in walking distance and can be reached within 10 minutes only. The mountain biking, hiking and climbing fun starts right outside the Rissbacherhof Hotel as it is located right on the edge of the forest and the free ski bus that takes you to the top skiing resort of Hochzillertal – Hochfügen stops right outside your door. The beautifully groomed cross-country skiing as well as the hiking and biking trail is just 3 minutes away on foot. Get to know the Zillertal by train or by bus that stops in front of the house and start your excursions in the Zillertal from here.

The Natur Resort Rissbacher offers comfortable double rooms in the Stammhaus, modern suite in our Vitallodge and family suites in the Landhaus. The cosy rooms come with a bathroom with separate WC and with a sunny balcony that offers a breath-taking view of the Zillertal Alps. The cosy lounges and the lobby with open fireplace invite you to spend particularly leisurely evenings. For your children we are happy to provide a crib as well as a high chair and your car can be safely parked in our garage.

In addition to our restaurant we run a small farm with cows, pigs and flowering fruit trees. Our own farm produce, such as meat, salad and herbs are used to prepare our Tyrolean delicacies. The deliciously fragrant apple strudel, apple compote and natural apple juice directly comes from the apples of our 40 trees. Take home a piece of your vacation in the form of self-distilled schnapps and home-made jams.

The homely atmosphere, the freshly prepared Tyrolean and international specialties as well as the kindness of all staff members are characteristic features of the Natur Resort and make it a much frequented and popular meeting place, not only among locals. Enjoy a good glass of wine in the cosy atmosphere of our quaint rooms after an eventful day.

Relax in our landscaped garden that was designed with lots of love and let the breath-taking panoramic view of the beautiful Zillertal work its magic. Your children can enjoy themselves at the playground with trampoline, swing, slide and a tree house and play to their heart's content. The playing room offers table tennis, foosball and a great playing area. During summer we invite you to join us at our house at the Kapaunsalm on the Stummerberg.

Untouched powder and perfectly groomed pistes matching very skill level and challenging mogul slopes are available at the Hochzillertal – Hochfügen and the Zillertal Arena skiing areas.
