Our house is located at the end of the valley Virgental in untouched nature, in the middle of the Hohe Tauern National Park and surrounded by over 150 three-thousand metre peaks such as the Großvenediger.

It is the ideal starting point for hikes as well as alpine tours into the glacier world. The popular excursion destination "Umbalfälle" can be reached on foot from our house. Various bike tours can also be easily started from the location.

In winter, the ski bus stop, cross-country ski runs and winter hiking trails are in the immediate vicinity. The family skiing area Prägraten is only 2 km away and the largest skiing area in East Tyrol, the Großglockner Resort Kals-Matrei, is 14 km away.
