Kaiser Franz-Josef-Hütten
Emperor Franz Joseph (1830 - 1916) was Emperor of Austria, King of Bohemia and Apostolic King of Hungary until his death. With a reign of almost 68 years, he sat on the Austrian throne longer than any Habsburg before him.
The cozy Kaiser-Franz-Josef huts are located on a sunny hillside, right on the Hochfügen ski slope in the Zillertal. A total of four naturalistic huts were built in a small settlement. The huts are built entirely from natural wood from the surrounding Tyrolean forests and therefore offer a high level of relaxation. Comfort has not been left out.
Hochfügen in the Zillertal is one of the most attractive holiday destinations in Tyrol and Austria. In the immediate vicinity of the Kaiser Franz-Josef huts there is a managed mountain hut, the Aar-Wirt. In this, guests are spoiled with traditional Tyrolean inn cuisine and hearty hut evenings. In winter you can order bread service and breakfast directly from the Aar host. In summer, a bread delivery service is possible at the hut administration on site.
The nearest shop can be found in Fügen, about 15 km away. The huts can be reached by car within a few meters. Parking spaces are available. Pets are welcome in the Kaiser Franz Josef Hütte.
