Our detached, luxurious 2018 non-smoking sun chalet in south-sunny location with 4 double bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, separate WC, spacious living room, open studio kitchen, infrared sauna, double garage plus parking is located 8 minutes walk from the village center Werfenweng with 8er gondola to the ski area. It offers 2 large balconies and the large southwest terrace: space is for 8 adults and still zus. 2 children. Ski bus, cross-country ski trail, swimming lake, game reserve, restaurants are within walking distance. In the SonnenChalet Werfenweng many high-quality and natural materials were used, tastefully combining historical with modern elements.
Rooms and hallways on the upper floor and attic are equipped with solid 22mm natural oak floorboards, floors and walls of the bathrooms, the separate toilet and the open kitchen with high-quality tiles.
Just as Werfenweng scores with its ecological energy concept and soft mobility, in our SonnenChalet an energy-efficient heat pump, which is fed with over 95% renewable energy, provides the warm water in the 200 liter storage tank in the house and the underfloor heating, which gently warms the rooms over the 2cm thick solid natural oak wood floor without giving you tingling feet.
All light sources including the cozy historic wall lamps in two floors of the hallway and in the two wagon wheels converted into lamps in the large living room are equipped with energy-saving, but still cozy warm white LED lamps.
All four double bedrooms have box spring double beds, each of which can be placed separately if needed. Wardrobes, tables and chairs in the bedrooms are restored furniture, some of which is over 100 years old. Wall paneling in three bedrooms and bedroom wardrobes were made from historic wood beams.
In the 3 bedrooms in the attic you will enjoy rooms up to 3,50m high with lots of alpine wood. All bedrooms and the large living room are equipped with cable TV - flat screen TVs with well over 100 TV channels and additionally very many radio stations, there is of course a free WLan.
At breakfast together or when the weather in summer times does not look "outside" or even in winter you sit in the very spacious dining and living room comfortably on the leather couch or together at the large oak table and have through the 4 large panoramic windows, all with exits to the large terrace over the entire south and west side of the house , the valley and breathtaking mountain panorama within reach.
On the first floor you use the proven very healthy, detoxifying infrared sauna.
We have sauna towels available for our guests in addition to towels and bath towels in the bathrooms.
In addition to the many inns in the ski area and on the mountains, restaurants and inns that are very easy to reach on foot from our SonnenChalet Werfenweng, some also with delivery service, offer a wide culinary selection in summer and winter, if you once do not want to use our modern and open studio kitchen next to the large dining table in the house with granite countertop, induction stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster and much more and still want to make yourself comfortable "at home". In the generously wide double garage you have in addition to two cars also space for bicycles or even a motorcycle brought from spring to beautiful autumn. A third car you simply park directly in front of the house.
In winter you can store your skis and snowboards in the hanging facilities between the garage and the house, and your boots in the ski boot warmers next door, which dry them in the evening and warm them in the morning.
Of course, there is also a crib and high chair available for babies and toddlers.
